Turkey Sliders
Turkey Burger Sliders
Yield: 14 Sliders
Ingredients
- 2lb Ground Turkey
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 3 tbsp Holy Gospel Seasoning
- 2 Eggs
- Goat Cheese
- Arugula
- Brioche Slider Roles
Tomato Jam
- 5 large ripe tomatoes cored and coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp fresh grated or minced ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- Dash of ground cloves
Instructions
- In a bowl combine, the panko, eggs, turkey, and seasoning
- Take the mixture and form small meatballs and gently shape those into patties
- Using a grill, or griddle, cook for about 3 minutes each side (check to make sure internal temp Is 165°)
- Optional: Toast your buns
- Spread goat cheese on the top bun
- Assemble the burgers as followed: bottom bun, burger, tomato jam, arugula, goat cheese, top bun
Tomato Jam
- Add all the ingredients to a heavy bottom saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil stirring frequently to prevent the bottom from burning.
- Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened to the consistency of jam. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Store in container and refrigerate before use
