Turkey Burger Sliders

Ingredients

  • 2lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 3 tbsp Holy Gospel Seasoning
  • 2 Eggs
  • Goat Cheese
  • Arugula
  • Brioche Slider Roles
Tomato Jam
  • 5 large ripe tomatoes cored and coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh grated or minced ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • Dash of ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine, the panko, eggs, turkey, and seasoning
  2. Take the mixture and form small meatballs and gently shape those into patties
  3. Using a grill, or griddle, cook for about 3 minutes each side (check to make sure internal temp Is 165°)
  4. Optional: Toast your buns
  5. Spread goat cheese on the top bun
  6. Assemble the burgers as followed: bottom bun, burger, tomato jam, arugula, goat cheese, top bun
Tomato Jam
  1. Add all the ingredients to a heavy bottom saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil stirring frequently to prevent the bottom from burning.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened to the consistency of jam. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. Store in container and refrigerate before use
