Ingredients

Marinade
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp gram masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
Sauce
  • 1 yellow onion thinly chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp gram masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 6oz of tomato paste
  • Additional tbsp of butter at the end just after adding the tomato paste
  • 1 cup heavy chipping cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • Additional heavy cream if desired

  • 4tbsp of butter
  • 3 cups Basmati Rice
  • Cilantro for garnish
